Inn Policies
- Pets are not permitted
- Smoking is only permitted outside the inn .
- Cancellations are accepted without penalty 2 weeks prior to the scheduled stay. Cancellations made within 2 weeks of intended stay are charged for one night's stay unless the room is re-booked.
- Wedding policies:
- The Iris Inn can be used for your wedding photographs if you have booked the entire house. Use of the inn for photographs is $100 per hour and arrangements must be made at least a week in advance. If you have not booked the entire inn, decisions about the use of the parlor for photographs will be made on an individual basis, depending on the other activities at the inn for that day.
- Holding policy – we will hold rooms for your family and wedding party with your credit card up until 60 days prior to the wedding. After that time we will release any rooms not booked by your family or wedding party to be booked by outside interested parties.
- Once a room is booked, the normal cancellation policy goes into effect.
- Deliveries – please let us know in advance if there will be items delivered (flowers, gift bags, etc.) so that we can be sure someone will be at the inn to accept them.
- Guest rooms – usually only registered guests are permitted in the rooms, and so if you would like a hairdresser, photographer or friends in your room, please let us know ahead of time. We cannot allow more than 4 people in a standard guest room; the suite can accommodate 6 people.
